MIXING

Combine two parts by volume of Component "A" with one part by volume of Component "B". The blend should be thoroughly mixed for at least three minutes, using a low speed, half-inch, electric drill with an Epoxy.com-Mixing Paddle.

If longer pot life is required, the mixed material may be poured into a mortar pan or any flat pan 1/2" + thick; this will dissipate the heat and extend the pot life for a longer working time.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The areas to receive the Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System should be free of liquid contaminants, dirt, grease and heavy laitance. It is recommended that sandblasting, waterblasting, or wire brushing be utilized for surface preparation. Surfaces may be dry or damp but free of standing water.

APPLICATION

As a Floor Topping

The floor should be primed with neat Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System at the rate of 100 sq. ft./gal. An epoxy mortar is made with 3 parts Epoxy.com Product #75 Epoxy Resin Filler blended into the mixed epoxy. The mortar is spread with normal masonry tools and trowel finish.

Grouting of Anchor Bolts

All bolts should be cleaned to remove oil, rust, or any other contaminants. If the annular space is 1/8" or less, Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System is used in the neat state. When concrete strengths are in excess of 3,000 psi, depth of bolt embedment should be 10 diameters of bolt. When concrete strengths are less than 3,000 psi, depth of bolt embedment should be 15 diameters of bolt.

Patching

Prime the surface to be finished with neat mixed Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System. Combine 3-1/2 parts by volume of Epoxy.com Product #75 Epoxy Filler to 1 part by volume of Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System and mix thoroughly with Epoxy.com-Mixing Paddle. Apply to primed surface and screed level. If extra skidproofing is desired, immediately broadcast Epoxy.com Product #75 onto the surface at the rate of lb. per square foot.

Skid Resistant Surfaces

For best results, a 3-coat application is recommended. Mix and apply Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin Systemfirst coat by brush, roller, squeegee or spray coat at the rate of 100 sq. ft./gal. Immediately broadcast Epoxy.com Product #75 Course Broadcast Aggregate onto surface at the rate of lb./sq. ft. Any Epoxy.com Product #75 Course Broadcast Aggregate that does not adhere may be removed by brush the next day. Apply top sealer coat of Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System. Allow to cure for 24 hours @ 70F.

One gallon of Epoxy.com Product #31 Medium Viscosity Low Mod Epoxy Resin System, when mixed with three parts of Epoxy.com Product #75 Filler, will produce approximately 600 cu. in. of grout or mortar, which will cover 16.5 sq. ft. of surface a thickness of ". When used as a coating, coverage will be approximately 70 to 120 sq. ft./gal., depending upon surface conditions.
