Anti-Moisture Entrapment Epoxy


DESCRIPTION

Epoxy.com Product #100 Anti-Moisture (moisture dissipative) Entrapment Epoxy uses a unique epoxy technology which allows the contractor to install epoxy systems on new concrete (4-5 days old) without fear of moisture entrapment. Product #100 Exhibits greater than 100 times the permeability of standard epoxy slurries and mortars. Product #100 is used as a pimer base for Epoxy.com Chip and Quartz systems and as a binder for Epoxy.com Resinous Mortar Systems, when moisture is a concern.

CONSIDERATIONS

  • Substrate temperature must be a minimum of 50 degrees F.
  • Substrate must be free of dirt, waxes, curing agents, and other foreign materials

Product #100 is available in Gray.  Special colors available, but minimum quantities and surcharges for special colors may apply. 

APPLICATION

Surface Preparation

Surface preparation is the most critical portion of any successful resinous flooring system application. All substrates must be properly prepared as outlined in Epoxy.com Surface Preparation Procedures. Epoxy.com Technical Support Department is pleased to answer any questions.

Installation

Installation of Epoxy.com Product #100 varies with application needs. Typically, Product #100 is installed as a slurry with a flat or notched trowel. Spiney rollers are required to de-air mix after spreading. For specific instructions contact Epoxy.com Technical Service Department.

Cleanup

Clean skin with soap and water. Tools and equipment should be cleaned with xylene or lacquer thinner.

Coverage

12 Square Feet per gallon yields 1/8 inch. 24 Square Feet per gallon yields 1/16 inch.

MAINTENANCE

If the floor becomes slippery due to animal fats, oil, grease, or soap film, clean and rinse thoroughly. Epoxy.com Product #100 is easily cleaned with neutral soaps or detergents. Routine mechanical scrubbing is recommended for all surfaces having a non-skid texture. Waxing is optional. Long periods of heavy traffic may cause wear patterns necessitating a maintenance application of a finish coat.

If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of Supplier will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to Supplier within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). Supplier may in its discretion refund the price received by Supplier in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of Supplier is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of Supplier. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. Supplier reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. Many of our products are batched on an individual order basis. Unless authorized by us in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater.  No returns on non-list priced items.  All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits.  In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
