Epoxy Educational Pages

"Industrial Floor Maintenance with Epoxy" explains common misconception that heavy loads on the floors cause most flooring problems, and so it cannot be prevented. "Industrial Floor Maintenance with Epoxy"  explains the steps that will help to prevent most flooring problems. For existing flooring problems "Industrial Floor Maintenance with Epoxy" discusses how to fix the problems and prevent the problems from getting worse.

"Epoxy Resin Strengths Explained" which explains the 4 primary strengths that are very important for most civil and mechanical engineering applications of epoxy: compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength, and bond strength. "Epoxy Resin Strengths Explained" also discusses the test methods to measure these strengths.

Fast Cure and Cold Cure Epoxy Resins

With cold weather upon us, Cold Temperature Cure Cured Epoxy Resins with Cold Cure Hardeners  allow installation to be done at low temperatures as low as 35°F. to 40°F. This epoxy resin is  zero (0) VOC, so it meets even the strictest low VOC requirements, and meets Indoor Environmental Quality/Air Quality Before Occupancy Materials meet the requirement for VOC content pertaining to LEED IEQ 4.2 Indoor Emitting Materials Credit. See the individual product component technical data sheets and MSDS for further information.

Expand your epoxy coating and flooring installation season and/or get your resin systems installed with shorter turnaround time . Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Resins with Cold Cure Hardeners can also be used in cold storage areas like food processing areas, where the temperature cannot be raised higher than 35° F or so. Normal cured epoxy and hardener systems typically requires 50°F or more to cure.

Epoxy Cold Temperature Resins with Cold Cure Hardeners is also be used as a super-fast setting Epoxy Mortar or Epoxy Coating at normal temperatures.   Cold Temperature Cure Epoxy Resins with Cold Cure Hardeners used at normal temperature gives you quick turn around time for small jobs, or larger jobs that require a short turn-around time. Most of the epoxy resins that we make with a cold cure hardener, we also make in a fast cure hardener.  It will net set as fast as the cold cure, but will set much master than the standard cure.
