Epoxy.com Product #431

Flame Retardant Structural Foam

This Material is a  Non-Stocking Material that is Made to Order / Minimum Quantity Required at least  50 gallons

Epoxy.com PRODUCT #431 is a two component, flame retardant foam especially manufactured to provide a rigid foam with physical properties similar to that of timber or cement grouts, at a convenient one to one ratio, A to B, light black in color. Product #431 will bond to wet, moist or dry surfaces, even to Plexiglas, with no shrinkage and ample pot life after mixing A & B components.

Non-burning and no red label

No solvent or toxicity

Low viscosity permits ease of pumping and penetration in porous construction materials, particularly timber, soil or pea gravel.

Product #431 foams in the presence of water or moisture, once A & B components are mixed together.

Product #431 foams in 2 to 2.5 minutes at 72oF (slower at a lower temperature), producing a water insoluble and chemical resistant polymer with outstanding penetration in timber, soil, gravel and porous construction materials, producing a very high strength with impact resistant properties.

Cracked timber or timber eaten away by termites or other insects; hard to get to areas where insulation and/or strength are required.

Product #431 can be poured or pumped. For best results use a double barrel hand gun and static mixer (available from Epoxy.com). When used in soil stabilization, perforated pipes are driven into the ground or water jetting is used to place perforated pipe, steel or plastic.

Product #431 is used where light weight flame retardant foam with structural properties are required, be it timber telephone poles, insulation, pipe sleeves or as an adhesive.

CAUTION: Keep container closed. Use only in well ventilated area. Wear rubber gloves, safety glasses and protective clothing. Use an organic vapor cartridge respirator. Avoid breathing vapors. In case of contact with skin or eyes, wash with large amounts of water. Consult a physician.
