DESCRIPTION EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #641 is a moisture-insensitive, two-component, 100% solids epoxy coating. EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #641 is especially formulated to protect concrete, steel and wood subject to high temperatures and corrosion. EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #641 has a convenient 1:1 by volume mix ratio and is easy to apply.ADVANTAGES EPOXYSYSTEMS’ PRODUCT #641 is resistant to high temperatures (3000-4000F) in addition to its high chemical resistance.
USES Wall and Floor Coating for:
PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
CHEMICAL RESISTANCE Chemical resistance - acids, alkalies, alcohols, acetone, cellosolves, toluene, Xylene and other solvents. 100% retention of flexural strength after two (2) weeks cure followed by seven (7) days immersion at 770F and 140"0F in the following:
SURFACE PREPARATION Remove dirt, loose particles and oil contaminants by scarification, sandblasting. Then vacuum or blow clean with an oil free compressed air. MIXING Mix 1 part "A" Component with 1 part "B" Component using a low-speed, 1/2" mixing paddle for 3-5 minutes. Apply immediately. Apply by brush, roller or spray. May require heat for spraying. High temperatures will shorten pot life. COVERAGE 125-150 square feet per gallon.
CAUTION WARNING! "A" Component contains Epoxy Resin. "B" Component contains alkaline amines; strong sensitizer. May cause skin sensitization or other allergic responses. Avoid inhalation of vapor. Use good ventilation, particularly if the material is heated or sprayed. Prevent all contact with skin and eyes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and/or barrier creams. If contact with skin occurs, wash immediately with water and contact a physician. FIRST AID: In case of contact, immediately flush eyes or skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Call a physician. Wash clothing before reuse. Discard contaminated shoes. Wear protective clothing, goggles, gloves, and/or barrier creams. Epoxy Systems™ Product Company ("ESI") warrants its products (when properly stored) for the period of time as follows: Epoxies, Product #315, Product #315BC, and Product #316 one (1) year; Polyesters, Methyl Methacrylates (normal) two (2) months and Polyurethanes Four (4) months; Power Tools and Equipment 90 days; Vinyl Esters, High Molecular Weight Methacrylates (HMMA) and all other resins (not specifically mentioned above) 30 days; hand tools (non-power tools) 30 days. ESI warrants that its products will be free of manufacturing defects and will be in conformity with published specifications when handled, stored, mixed and applied in accordance with recommendations of ESI. If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of ESI will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to ESI within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). ESI may in its discretion refund the price received by ESI in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of ESI is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of ESI. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. ESI reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. ESI'S OBLIGATION SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE OBLIGATIONS EXPRESSLY UNDERTAKEN ABOVE AND ESI SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY LOSS, COST, EXPENSE, DAMAGE OR LIABILITY, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OR FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. All quotes and sales subject to availability. Many of our products are made on an individual order basis. Unless authorized in writing by Epoxy Systems, Inc. in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed, and the material made. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater. No returns on non-list priced items. All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits. In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
