Epoxy.com Product #1001 Rapid Hardening, Two Component Fiber Reinforced Mortar is composed of polymer resin, selected plasticizers, cement, synthetic fibers and aggregates. Epoxy.com Product #1001 is conveniently packaged in a two part unit to produce the ultimate in bond, compressive strength, and impact resistant properties for a repair mortar. ADVANTAGES:
WHERE TO USE:Epoxy.com Product #1001 is ideal for use in bridges, parking garages, walkways, tunnels, floor overlays, and spot patching. It can be used as thin as 1/2" in thickness. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES:
APPLICATION:Curing compound is not required as material will surface seal itself; however, provide a 2 hour wet cure whenever possible. Clean tools and equipment with water. For ultimate bonding, use Epoxy.com Product #7 Wet to Dry Bonding Agent. PACKAGING:Part A is an emulsified co-polymer, packaged in a 1 gallon (3.79 L) plastic jug (8.5 lbs). Part B is a blend of special aggregates, cements and fibers packaged in a multi-wall bag (50 lbs). Total Weight - 58.5 lbs.( 26.54 Kilo) COVERAGE:Each 58.5 lb (26.54 Kilo) unit will yield approximately 0.40 cu. ft. of mortar. SURFACE PREPARATION:Masonry surfaces should be clean and damp, but free of standing water. MIXING:Shake Part A (polymer liquid) thoroughly before adding Part B. Place 0.75 gal. (2.84 L) of polymer into a mortar pan then, add powder slowly while mixing. If a more fluid consistency is required, add additional polymer liquid to mix. Do not over mix. LIMITATIONS:Protect Part A from freezing; if frozen, discard. Store in cool, dry place at 40° F (4.4°C) .or higher Lowest application temperature is 40° F (4.4°C). Shelf Life: 6 months minimum in original container SHELF LIFE:One (1) year in original container CAUTION:Epoxy.com Product #1001 contains cement and a polymer which may cause skin irritation in some cases. Cleanliness is required. In case of skin contact, wash thoroughly with water. If contact with eyes occurs, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and contact a physician. Powdered materials such as cement, sand or Epoxy.com Product #1001 require OSHA approved respirators and masks. FOR INDUSTRIAL USE ONLY. Epoxy Systems™ Product Company ("ESI") warrants its products (when properly stored) for the period of time as follows: Epoxies, Product #315, Product #315BC, and Product #316 one (1) year; Polyesters, Methyl Methacrylates (normal) two (2) months and Polyurethanes Four (4) months; Power Tools and Equipment 90 days; Vinyl Esters, High Molecular Weight Methacrylates (HMMA) and all other resins (not specifically mentioned above) 30 days; hand tools (non-power tools) 30 days. ESI warrants that its products will be free of manufacturing defects and will be in conformity with published specifications when handled, stored, mixed and applied in accordance with recommendations of ESI. If any product fails to meet this warranty, the liability of ESI will be limited to replacement of any non-conforming material if notice of such non-conformity is given to ESI within the warranty period for the material (as indicated above), or within 1 year of the delivery of materials (whichever is sooner). ESI may in its discretion refund the price received by ESI in lieu of replacing the material. No customer, distributor, or representative of ESI is authorized to change or modify the published specifications of this warranty in any way. No one is authorized to make oral warranties on behalf of ESI. In order to obtain replacement or refund the customer must provide written notice containing full details of the non-conformity. ESI reserves the right to inspect the non-conforming material prior to replacement. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESSED WARRANTY STATED ABOVE, THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE. ESI'S OBLIGATION SHALL NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE OBLIGATIONS EXPRESSLY UNDERTAKEN ABOVE AND ESI SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY LOSS, COST, EXPENSE, DAMAGE OR LIABILITY, WHETHER DIRECT OR INDIRECT, OR FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Unless authorized in writing by Epoxy Systems, Inc. in writing before the material is made, there are no returns on items purchased from us, once the order has been processed, and the material made. In the event of authorized returns a restocking charge will be charged in the amount of 30% of the value of the material returned or $150 whichever is greater. No returns on non-list priced items. All Returns are for merchandise (store) credit only, no cash or credit card credits. In the event of a return, buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and handling in both directions.
